this is from my second night while i was out in New York, i went to the most amazing restaurant call buddakan which in fact is the same place Carrie in sex and the city held her rehersal party. it was one of the best dinners ive ever had ( and i eat a lot).  I always wanted to try the boyfriend Jean look so i bought these pair of citizen of humanity jeans just before I left and I love them!

so I went to New York stayed at the plaza hotel and had the most amazing time! did a few outfit posts as well so you can see what I wore out there. I literally did shop till I dropped and managed to get the most wanted boots ever which ill be posting a picture of later. here is one of my favourite outfits a pink vest and pleated maxi skirt from H&M. it was super humid and hot out there so had to try and wear the lightest garments I had.

Im trying to decide how i feel about this collection as a whole, I have fallen in love with the white blazer and the bleached jeans, however im not a fan of fishnet tights especially ripped ones. I also cant get over the tshirts that look blood stained and burnt. I think that this collection has taken the "grungy gothic" style quite literally however i do apprciate the work that has gone into each garment! I think that the styling of the models could be better so that this collection can appeal to everyone rather than thoose who enjoy looking like they are gothic grungy vampires. Several of the garments can be worn by anyone however i find that the way they are styled alsmost makes them unappealing.Another thing is that i dont get a spring summer vibe from this at all.. is that just me?

i know ive been a terrible blogger but A levels aint as easy as they used to be... i find my self spending more hours pondering on what to put in my portfolio,personal statement and if CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS will even considers having an interview with lil old me..than i do thinking about food,clothes and boys like most girls.. good thing i have a "passion for fashion" or i could have easily have given up on my dream to be a part of the amazing industry that is FASHION.

at work we needed to get some garments so that they could be used in photo shoots if needed and also to help get publicity for the designer by having them up in our pop up shop. One of then is Eugene.Lin who's winter 2010 collection i had to pick up all the way from commercial road in east London! Thank god i didn't go alone but it wasn't easy carrying two garment bags filled with heavy winter fabrics on a 30 minuet walk to the tube station then on two tubes and then a walk back to our pop up shop in carnarby street. I set up the collection on the rails and fell in love with some of his garments instantly! i love the cape the sculptured jackets and the fabrics they where made from. of course i couldn't keep this beauty to myself so i took a few pictures..well not a few i took pictures of every single garment he lent us! although when i went on his site he had better pictures of the ones i took so i decided to add some of his as well

right direction. Whilst on-line, also make a point of checking out Ebay for bargains, especially
their vintage pages.
If it’s a vintage look you’re after, take a stroll through your local flea market. The clothes may
need a wash, and sometimes a bit of TLC but you can end up with something quite unique, and in
most cases at a real bargain.
Do make a point of looking at designer/factory outlets. They can offer some great style bargains,
and you can take your time trying stuff on.
And last but not least, don’t forget the charity shops. They’re not as cheap as they used to be, but

ahhh the crazy world of the fashion industry is one that im dying to become permanent resident in. i honestly couldn't imagine what i would rather spend my time doing more than appreciating that world and living through it?..
ive been crazy looking for internships and work experience opportunities.. i;ve got my school helping me and google on my side.. im really really hoping to get at least 3 done this year.. and next year hopefully a lot more than 3 seeing as will be 18 and that seams to be the age requirement for most internships...
the most frustrating thing is when you know you can do just as good as an 18 year old and perhaps even better.. and this inst me getting a big head or anything i just feel like i can bring a lot to the table and also learn and gain much needed experience on working first hand in the industry..
this blog came about only because my sister started her own music one..and then told me to start a blog on whatever i wanted to and at that time i was SURE i was going to go into medicine or something scientific...but i thought a blog on medicine and science is not something i would want to write about all the time..and so i thought " hey why not start a fashion blog ".. and then my eyes opened as i discovered that i could see every show and collection i wanted to through vogue.co.uk but at first i used style.com..
i live breathe all things fashion.. i have the ability to now look at a garment and tell you the designer what collection it was from and year and possibly even describe the model i saw wearing it on the show.. ( pretty sad i know ) and i wonder why can i do that yet i cant differentiate between Baroque and Rococo art which to some people is like not knowing the difference between Chanel and Docle&Gabanna...
i think its because i genuinely enjoy knowing and i don't have to keep revising it my brain just wants to remember it..
ahhhh anyways enough jibber jabber..if any of you know any london based fashion internships available PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know... but for now i leave you with these two quotes that got me to write this post.

im sure you have all heard about the the earthquake in Haiti causing a massive massive amount of severe devastation to hundreds of thounds of people out there. i knew what had happened but hadn't really read about it or watched it on the news. until this morning when i decided to go on cnn and get the full insight.. i watch several clips and one particularity had me in tears. i believe that everyone can do their bit to help Haiti even the smallest of donations count.. you don't have to be tiger woods and donate $3million to make a difference.. so you can donate through these following charities which ive checked out and are lagit.. also in H&M when you purchase anything they should ask you if you would like to make a £1 donation towards haiti if not ask them if you can.

ive always wanted to have lace inserts in a pair of black jeans...ive just been Farr to lazy to do so..however i have attempted it and its not ad great as i wanted it to be i think i needed to do smaller inserts i think i cut the holes to big!.. its pretty simple to do just cut out some holes and then turn the jeans inside out and cut out pices of lace to cover the wholes and sew them in and viola! i think im gonna sort them about abit ive worn them out once already and i was surprisingly not as cold as i though..anyways im going to try and perfecto them.. let me know what you think about them for now.

ahhhh i want boots and lots of them..ive seen so many like i like want and need but haven't been able to get for various reasons such as they don't accept debit card ( when buying from a non uk website) they are far to expensive, or reasonably priced but i spent to much that month already and last but not least SOLD OUT...ughh sigh sigh sigh.. im especially annoyed as most of these boots are on sale! and i cant get them now because i cleaned out my account and i wont get my next allowance till i go back to school (jan).. if your wondering how im surviving its because im in Nigeria at the mo on holiday..anyways im hoping that by the time i get back ill be able to get at least 3 pairs which mite just be me pushing it so ill be content with one..i just hope they have my size!

chanel opens their first store in china which was the inspiration used on their autumn winter 2010-11 collection.. i like the collection alot it looked very couture like i wouldn't be surprised if it was even. I'm really in to ready to wear that looks couture like you know that kinda one of a kind looking garment? if that makes any sense at all.. and not many designer do that i mean i cant even think of one at the top of my head.. but anyways back to chanel its a great collection and its worth checking it al out..

i was asked to do a feature on Mikimoto pearls a while back and im only really getting the chance to do it now! Mikimoto pears are stunning, and im not really a fan of pearls but i love there stuff,i think if you wear pearls they have to be made in a subtle and elegant way i also think the smaller the pear the nicer it looks.Any ways ive got a few favorites that they sell and you can check the rest out by clicking Mikimoto Pearls. i just turned 17 on 23.11.09 and i feel old and farty but that will all pass when i come to party..
ha..i kid i kid.i do feel like im aging but im having a good time doing so..i just feel like i wasn't even 16 for long enough if i could be 16 for another 6 months i would really go back i just feel like i didn't have enough time..wierd i know..

i got these from zara in Paris i almost regret getting them for the price they where..and also because my right foot doest seem to be very comfortable in them and they give my Achilles heel a really bad ache..but i guess pain is beauty right?
