inspiration..

i found this blog called hand it over..her style is insane i literally love all her outfits... what i love most about finding a new blog especially one thats based around outfits posts and has been around for a long time is the fact that i can literally click the older post button over and over again and get to see more and more of her posts.. anyways Wendy who i have no idea how old is..... has inspired me:

1. to do more outfits posts and get someone else to take the pictures
2. to re-invent garments like to stud a blazer to make it that more interesting
3. to just keep posting and posting as much as i can..ive always wanted to change a garment up like slash some jeans or stud some shoes to get that rodarte/christian louboutin effect(the ones victoria has on bellow)..but im quite a lazy girl..but not for any longer..im going to try and stud something and i think its going to be my topshop heels which look like that(the blue ones below) but don't have the crocodile effect and are grey/silvery i think im going to stud them down the middle..so all i need to do now is buy the studs.. also i want to try out studding a bustier like the one Wendy has which she got from style jungly..though i don't think im going to do it the same way.. or even stud one at all but i would love to wear one with like a simple top as she has...

THERE IS ONLY ONE SALE.... THE HARRODS SALE.!!

WOOOP WOOOOP..the time has come!! i was soooo excited yesterday you wouldn't believe..its like a family tradition to get up early and be there by 9 for when the door opens!.. it was crazy packed but im happy with what i got.. if i wasn't so short of cash i would have gotten more! but the sale is on for a month!!!!..so ill be going back soon!!..i bought some carvela heels for £39 from £90 i had soo many but i had to make my mind up and spend my money wise.. i also got some lingerie from myla.. after the sales i got in a taxie and headed down to oxford street though i really would have loved to go straight back to my friends house but she had loads of stuff to get.. we went to selfridges and hamleys!.. i was sooo soo tired and my feet were so sore from walking in the cold for ages!..

on our way to oxford street we passed gucci which was also on sale! and the cue was crazy there where people inside the store and outside!! it was mad.. i wore my topshop grey vest which a shortened and draped by adding a vest with my zara cardigan.. my sister on the other hand who i have done a post on ( click here to read) wore an orange fluffy coat from zara a red dress from i don't know here and leopard print leggings..after all the running around i went back to my friends house and played around with the camera..

i didn't wish wish you all a merry Christmas i know..but i hope you all had a great one and have an awesome new year!!

its been a long time coming.. and here it is.. this is what i wore to my friends 16th..i changed my belt from the studded one to the one with the chain it was a little less constricted..
the heels were killer but pain is beauty right?

i was on fashiontoast when i spotted these ankle boots and i remembered seeing them a while back but i forgot to buy them! now i have found them again i cant get them! but i will get them... eventually!.. they are by bakers shoes!.. click on image for larger view!
im telling you people check them out if you cant afford to get the real deal they are the next best thing.. anyways there are a few boots i want and i have lined them up in order of priority!..i don't care if the balenciaga ones are almost three seasons old i still want them!..i want them all!... sounding a little spoilt there aren't i ?..

SISTA..SISTERS..

i know i havent done an outfit post in ages but i will as sooooon as i can..but i thought you guys might like to see some outfits/costumes that my sister (also a blogger) has put together and also made..she loves to stick things on her face and plays dress up more then anyone i know..

i haven't done a post in a week.. really sorry about that soooooo much going on..also i was pretty down from last weekend till about a few days ago.. but im back on track now.. thing is im on holiday this Wednesday.. and i have to REVISE.. because i have mocks coming up.. and i really cant afford to waste anytime.. im soo busy this week with gatherings 16th birthday parties and dinners that its hard to find time to just sit down and write a post!..but there should be plenty of outfit posts coming up as i have my camera back so you'll get to see what i wear to these events!!..

anyways.. topshop has some pretty cool stuff that i want at the mo and i cant really afford to get any of them.. every time i get money i spend straight away! i spent my last batch on baby clothes for my less then a month old niece!!.. so i wont be getting any of these anytime soon but you never know.. what i want most is the vests because of the draping at the back...and also theres a top from asos i want that also has the draping effect.. ive been looking around for stuff like this since i saw balenciagas 08 fall collection which i did a post about click here to see.. i also really want the lace body..so im going to try and get the body and the vests ( both balck and blue ) soon as i can!..

what toshop has that i wanted that i got!

i did a post on the things i wanted from topshop that i was planing on buying ( click here to read post) and i managed to get 3 things out of them and also try one on.. i bought the wet look leggings (two different lengths) the grey vest and the lace blouse which i had in a previous post ( click here).. i also bought the red top for £20 it was on sale from £35 i plan on getting it in black too..but what i want are there boots for £75! which i can buy but then i promised myself i would try and save up and haven't done a very good job of that since i received my pocket money so im going to NOW try and save up so i can buy loooooaaaaddss from the harrods sale!..

i was looking through my old posts and i came across the purple dress i designed and had made for me in Nigeria.. i love going to the market and buying grate material and then making a garment from that and ive got quite a few now! and i didn't realize how much i love the dress until i saw it again.. and coming to think of it i would have worn it like i did in the first picture on the left rather then how i did with the cardigan and tights!.. i plan on wearing it soon and ill do a post to show how i wore it.. to read my previous post on it click here..

Tomamaso Awerbuch- Amatuer fashion photography winner

i got an e-mail from Aimee Aldersley, who works for PR agency immediate future based in the UK. they are currently working with the Central PR team at Sony Europe to raise awareness of this year’s Sony World Photography Awards in Cannes!

The Sony World Photography Awards - the global competition which honours both professional and amateur photographers - is inviting all budding fashion photographers to submit their work for the 2009 SWPA Fashion category. Fashion has always been a fertile ground for the most innovative photography, so this is a chance to showcase work in front of the world’s leading photographers and some of the most renowned names in the industry including Tom Stoddart and Elliott Erwitt.

The competition is free to enter and the submission deadline is 31^st December 2008. The winner will be announced on 17^th March 2009. There are eight amateur categories in total. The SWPA Amateur Fashion Photographer of the Year will be showcased as part of the official 2009 Finalists exhibition in Cannes and be part of the annual SWPA Global Tour.

One grand prize winner will be selected from the eight category winners by the 2009 Judging Committee and will be awarded The Sony World Photography Awards Amateur Photographer of the Year. The overall winner and a guest will be flown to Cannes, receive two nights’ accommodation in a luxury hotel on the famous Croisette, receive VIP tickets to attend the evening gala awards ceremony on 16^th April 2009, and will receive $5000 and a Sony prize.
